A simple personification about togetherness.
Four flowers, each beautiful in its own way,
Picked carelessly and bound together
By a piece of twine.

Recipients of unrequited love,
Left alone to bare the burdens
Of being picked:

The Iris—
Purple with grace and eloquence
Bestows wisdom to the others, while

The Delphinium—
Nimble and fun, has a heart
Overflowing with love.

The Chrysanthemum—
Filled with joy and optimism
Of happiness and peace, while

The Anemone—
Anticipates life, fighting the
Hopelessness of feeling forsaken.

Four flowers, each beautiful in its own way,
Picked carelessly and bound together
By a piece of twine.

Recipients of unrequited love,
Now together, no longer
Alone.
