About coming into relationships or marriage with the wrong mindset.
I stand next to my happiness, my all,
Watching the pastor make the final call.
Will no one step forward to stop my fall?
Ah yes, the ring. I shall place on my doll.
And hers for me, a mighty weight to haul.

Should it be a surprise our love turned sour?
From that moment that I did deflower,
Expecting the world of love's great power,
I've been let down, growing bitter each hour,
Staying for the sake of those we call ours.

Oh Honey, how is it we're such a wreck?
Both dense anchors around each other's necks?
How can it be that they have not snapped yet?
The days pass and no younger do we get,
May as well embrace for our final rest.
