Lessons to enrich one's life. What greater purpose in life is to better one's self?
Listen to my story,
Won’t you stay awhile?

Falling into this, I found was my mistake.
This place I call my mind, Is lost within it's maze.

Feeling as though it is all I can be.
In search for such a purpose was never meant to be.
This vermin that speaks with drugs that seep and bring trepidation.
This will always be here, a place of haze and despair.

No one looks my way, no such gaze into my eyes.
Such envy and lust for just human rights.

A burdensome stupor of the mind, with thoughts to lug such a path.
A struggle for control and motivation.
We survive, but only by our teeth.

Spiraling out the door, you seem to think I'm fine.
I hand out empty words and blank feelings with such grace.
We may survive, but look at who we are.

Alone they can find me, lost within my own ebb.
Picking and tearing at these insidious thoughts.
A formidable road to pave within one's own mind,
Although through such toil, we discover an amply rewarding life.

Thus bring on the tides of the haunting jaws of time,
Let flow the memories to become, help re-organize and re-define.
The sweet blissfulness of confusion that sets my soul on edge.
That which may guide us will in turn grant us safe passage.
