Another poem having to do with some kind of body of water.
“Anchor”

Unfurling the sails and hugging the wind
Breathing deeply and gazing longingly at the horizon

To stop my head from turning back
To stop the hunger that rocks me sideways
To sate the thirst for second chances

Endless lessons with nameless teachers.
Tell us to let go
Let go of ourselves and sever the chain.
