When people lose their connection.
DISCONNECT

Stumbling through this journey of life,
While the sands of time slowly wept.
Two lives diverged that were once joined,
Shattered, as if while they slept.

Hammered against the anvil of life,
And shaped by the weight of the world.
Caught in the tragic fight for existence,
Helpless, I watch them unfurl.

They were both sculpted, and formed piece by piece.
By the tempest of life, they were hit.
Now they're both different, and totally new,
But together, can no longer fit.
