My first effort at poetry written on a dull wet bank holiday Sunday
WET SUNDAYS

Its cold outside ….its Sunday
Its wet outside …its Sunday
Take me away from this dank dark day
to places where the smell of cherry blossom fills the air
and the sea glints with the smile of the sun’s rays
We long for those days when Summer is near
its Sunday …..its raining
its Sunday ….a wet, cold, Sunday afternoon
