There are two roads we can choose when walking with Christ. Here they are.
It's a winding road we're travelling on;
Sometimes it feels as though all hope is gone.
We're familiar with the dark abyss.
We think it can't get much worse than this.
We think we'll never see joy again;
Exceptfor just every now and then.
But just when we think all is lost,
We're reminded of the One who paid the ultimate cost.
The One who came to live to die;
He gave the biggest sacrifice.
There are sometimes we think we pay,
Much more thaty anyone, we say.
We tend to think oif our own survival,
We forget the One who beat our rival.
This winding road,you see,
Has a narrow path for all to see.
On which some of us will traverse,
While others will mock and curse.
We aren't promised an easy life.
Matter of fact, it will be riddled with trouble and strife.
Long as we follow the narrow and straight,
He'll get us there on time; 'cause He's never late.
Just remember to never give up the fight,
For our eternal reward is so very bright.
It's the ultimate Light!
