A poem I wrote 3/28/2014 It is basically about how the moral fiber of society has changed.
A dying breed are people real
Those who do not lie cheat or steal
True and fair in dealings with all
From right nor wrong they would not crawl

Moral compasses have sure changed
Views and values so re-arranged
With needles pointing far off course
Wrong ways are walked with no remorse

Hate lust and greed loom large today
The true and just they do decay
I often wonder with much fear
Where on earth it will go from here

Of future facts no one can say
But trends today can point the way
Things have been on a down hill slide
And signed up or not we all ride

Where this ride ends we can not tell
The destination may be Hell
Through it at least to some degree
For trapped on this ride all are we
