Twilight made me write intense poetry from the main characters. I hope you like them
Edward’s Song

Blood.
The thickness of fluid passage
Through veins, pulsing,
Pounding
Food of life.

Blood.
Thick metallic human fuel
Freshly oozing;
Feeding
My passion.

Blood.
Essence so compelling
Drawing me, compulsively,
Reluctantly,
Anticipating ecstasy.

Blood.
Nothing satisfies constant cravings
For sweet scent, scarlet
Texture of life-

As I remove yours.

Bella’s Song

Honey-hued eyes attract me like a bee,
Perfect pouted lips purse for a kiss.
Lashes so long they cause a breeze,
Muscular torso tensed for all to see.

Cool – nay, cold but never, ever frozen,
Your sensational scent weaves round me,
Then reweaves in my own senses to
Bewilder, bewitch them with desire.

Unique in your majestic beauty-
I stumble and fumble to reach you.
But our thoughts are never shared,
We misunderstand, hurting each other.

Oh! Although the words will not come to me,
I love you so intensely. It rips
My brain and heart asunder.
I need you beside me constantly.

Edward - your name rips apart my being,
Transports me to highest forest trees.
Soars. Glitters in the sunlit copse,
Makes the world a stellar planet.

My love for you is a star, a comet
Blazing across the firmament,
Touching all with glorious light -
Love infinite, eternal love.
