Chapter 6 of God's Game. Review's would be amazing!
"Hey, wake up. Marcus, wake up"

My eyes began to slowly open showing a blurry sight of a man towering over me. He had been also shaking my shoulder in order to wake me up.

"What?" I groaned.

"What do you mean what? It's time for school" It was Jordan's voice.

My eyes shot open, today was the day I would learn to control my powers and find out even more about it. Getting up, I stretched, pushing both my arms into the air as well as giving a big yawn. Jordan unexpectedly began to laugh, tears forming in his eyes.

"What?" I spoke angrily.

"It's just, that's the most human thing I've seen you ever do." Jordan replied.

Perhaps in the past I may have punched him, but this wasn't the past, I had changed I didn't feel like the crazy sadistic person I once was, instead I felt empty and maybe a little lonely. Dragging the bed sheets off of me, I realised I had been wearing the same clothes since leaving the hospital even sleeping in them.

"I'm going to need to new clothes" I snarled.

"You can buy it yourself, I would hand you a school uniform but that's to be given to you by the director and no one else" Jordan responded.

I noticed that Jordan had been wearing a long white robe with red outflinging's and a shield emblem with pair of wings on the right side chest, along with a plain white shirt accompanied with a black and blue tie and grey trousers. Sighing, I made my way to the hallway seeing Ellie as I did. She began to shiver, eyes growing freighted, ignoring her I passed her, making my way to the bathroom.

"Something wrong" Jordan asked.

"N-n-no" Ellie replied in a squeaky voice.

Sitting me once again on the Elden family's dining table, I became to help myself to a classical breakfast of eggs, toast and bacon although it seemed to be cooked by Ellie and the tastes was at best only moderate.

After the meal, the three of us made our way out the front door, heading ourselves off towards Innocence Academy. Ellie's school uniform was comprised of a white long dress with and a short sea grey jacket and blue outlining's. The breeze of the outdoors was soothing, the bright sun rested upon my skin giving me a sense of peace.

"It'll take about twenty minutes of walking to get to school." Jordan spoke, instantly knocking me out of my peaceful trance.

"Alright" I returned.

Jordan seemed to be somewhat surprised, giving me a puzzled look. It must have been due to my lack of replies. Soon, more people bearing the same uniforms as Jordan and Ellie began to appear. These were Eleusis's, people with special abilities though you wouldn't know it seeing as they all looked just like normal human beings. In the distance a giant white building began to grow in the distance.

"That's Innocence academy up ahead" Jordan smirked

"It's pretty big, big enough to hold one hundred thousand people worth of classrooms." Jordan continued

I didn't give a response, my mind was on the growing anticipation that begun to slowly spur inside me. I could learn how to fully control my powers and finally find a of source enjoyment in this new and vast world.

The amount of students began to grow by each passing second, filling the entire pathway towards Innocence academy with hundreds upon hundreds of students. Amongst the many students, I stuck out like a sore thumb, wearing casual clothes rather than a school uniform.

Two giant statues resembling knights kneeled across from each other lay in our path. There was a wide gap in between the two statues which worked as an entrance to enter the school. The loud combined voices of all the students were like being at a festival, loud and cheerful.

"Ellie, I'm going to take Marcus to the director's office, head to class without me" Jordan shouted
above the crowd.

Rather than saying anything, Ellie nodded in acknowledgement and disappeared into the crowd.

"Well, I'll take you to director Lawrence." Jordan shouted once again.

As we passed the entrance into the school a large white building reaching up to 50m tall with windows splattered all across of it. On the very middle of the building a large symbol of the school's emblem, a shield with white wings was painted on.

Jordan entered the building through one of the many doors of the buildings front side. The inside was painted in all white with various pictures of pictures of students in groups. Many students were loitering around idly chatting amongst friends.

We continuously walked through the building, even walking up a flight of stairs to reach the next floor. There was an absence of pictures which was replaced by a long window on both walls stretching across the whole hallway. Unlike the other floor, there were only a handful of students here.

Looking out the right side window a large area with patches of grass and a fountain lay in the area, accompanied with students. I also noticed even more buildings, not just one or two more but what seemed to reach even more than twenty or so large buildings.

"How many people attend this school?" I asked Jordan.

Jordan, without turning around, answered "I think around ten thousand."

Ten thousand ability users, each surpassing rank 2 resided here. What rank was I? Jordan had guessed saying I was only rank 3, but what would he know, him only being a rank 4.
We stopped in front of a chestnut coloured double door with a yellow plate on the right side door saying, "Director Jim Boice". Jordan softly knocked on the door a total of three times, which was then followed with a voice saying, "Come in" within in the room.

Jordan proceeded into the directors room, revealing a white coloured room, with two couches facing opposite of each other, with a coffee table in the middle, a trophy case on the left hand side of the room filled with various trophy's and a chestnut desk with a man sitting behind it.

He was old, looking around 70 years old with grey hair and a long beard, wrinkles covered his entire face giving it a saggy look, and brown eyes. Jordan gave a polite bow

"Hello sir, my name is Jordan Elden from Rank 4 class Zion. I'm here to introduce a new student, Marucs Halse who wishes to enrol immediately."

The old man wore a strict expression, one resembling a military soldier.

"I see. But you know Mr.Elden, things like this are handled by Mr.Kim the head advisor."

I couldn't see Jordan's face, but I'd imagine it would be one of embarrassment.

"I am so sorry sir. I'll take him there immediately." Jordan spoke in a crooked voice.

The old man's strict expression shifted into a smile, showing a row of bright white teeth.

"That's okay Mr.Elden. I'll talk to him regarding this matter. You can leave now."

"I'm sorry sir. Also, here's a letter from Lady Mischenny." Jordan responded, walking towards the desk handing him the letter.

"I'll be taking my leave now."

Jordan left the room leaving behind myself and the old man. The old man opened the letter, reading it for a while.

"So Marcus, when did you arrive here?" he questioned.

"Just yesterday"
"And only after being here for a day, you want to start schooling rather than exploring more about this place?"

"That's correct" I replied.

This gave him a surprised look. He stood up from his black leather chair, rubbing his forehead still wearing his surprised look.

"Don't you resent us Marcus? We took you from your family; don't you feel like running back to them?" He asked.

I looked at him for a while, showing nothing but silence. Finally, sighing, I replied.

"They were killed, by a monster named Violet."

His expression changed, but not to one of sympathy, but of calm look.

"Violet, one of the strongest creatures inhabiting this land of Utopia. So, do you wish to attend this academy in order to get stronger so that you can kill Violet?"

Until now, I hadn't thought about it. Why I wanted to join this academy so soon, I told myself it was to seek enjoyment but now I had realised, I wasn't the selfish cold hearted guy I once was, I did what to avenge my family.

"Yes, I want to find Violet and tear him limb from limb. But to do that, I need power and in order to gain power I need to learn from this school."

My tone was cold and evil. If people heard this, they would be thinking me a dangerous person whom they should avoid at all cost. Although if I were to be left alone even in this world, I think I wouldn't mind. This however didn't change the director's expression; he still wore a clam fade, until he began to burst out with laughter.

"If knowledge is what you seek then this academy can give it to you. If power is what you want then power is what we will give. If revenge is what you want then it's revenge that you'll get it, if it's you, Marcus."
His smile disappeared, reverting to his strict face that he had worn when I had laid my eyes upon him for the first time.

"But this road won't be easy. It's only for those who are willing and capable. But even with those qualities, you wouldn't be able to take down Violet, not in a million years. The thing you need most is talent. If you have all that, then killing Violet wouldn't be a pipe dream."

I said nothing, only looking directly into his cold brown eyes. His serious expression once again changed into a happy one, once again smiling. He sat down once again unto his chair. Taking out a piece of paper, he began to write.

"Take this down to Mr.Kim, this school's advisor. Oh, but since you're new here you wouldn't know where his office is."

After he had finished writing, he reached into a draw in his desk pulling out a black sphere. He stood up, walking toward me he handed me both the black sphere and the letter he had been writing on.

"This little black ball is called an echo. For now it'll serve as your GPS, although it's a lot more than that. Since it already has the entire school mapped out, just give it a voice command and it'll show you where it is."

Following what he said, I gave spoke out,

"Show me Mr. Kim's office."

Instantly, a hologram of a map appeared from the ball. The map only revealed the current room we were in, but a red arrow was pointed in the direction of the exit on the map.

"Just follow that little red arrow, and you'll be there in no time. When you get there, hand him the letter." The director smiled.

"Okay. Then I'll be going now." I replied.

Turning my back on him, I exited through the door, following the red dot coming from the map. As I exited, I noticed that Jordan wasn't here, I had expected him to be waiting for me, I was wrong. Following the red dot, I exited the building walking along a court yard I had seen earlier with the fountain in the middle. Suddenly, I heard a great number of shouts coming from the other side of the court yard.

"It's Eurasia Bloom" one person shouted.

A girl appeared though a crowd of people surrounding her. She was quite tall, around 6ft, with bright blonde hair to go along with her also yellow eyes. Her skin seemed to be smooth, with a beauty mark resting right under her left eye. Unlike everyone else her, like me she was wearing casual clothes, a golden dress to match her hair along with golden heels, and a violet hair pin in her hair.

Due to her clothes she would most likely be a teacher, despite her young appearance. Ignoring her, I continued along my way to the school's advisor. I hadn't ever fallen for anyone before; honestly I didn't find any girl's to be attractive no matter what anyone around me thought of them. Perhaps I could possibly be gay? I was instantly disgusted by that thought and buried it deep within my mind, dismissing it.

Passing through various hallways filled with white walls and doors of a building called "A" I seemed to have finally reached my destination, which was due to the red arrow pointing in wards towards a door labelled with the name "Danny Kim".

I knocked on the door three times, just as Jordan had done.

"Yes" a deep voice spoke from within.

I took that as "come in" and entered the room. The room was smaller than the directors with only a two chairs and a desk opposite of them. Sitting behind the desk was a man who seemed to be in his mid-thirties with long black hair reaching to his neck and wearing glasses.

"Can I help you?" he asked in a deep tone.

"The director, Mr.Boice asked me to come here."

Shoving the black sphere into my pocket which Mr.Kim noticed, I handed him the letter the director had written. He took it, and after a few seconds looked up. He scrunched the letter up, throwing It into a small bin next to his desk.

"Take a seat, Mr.Halse."

Gesturing his hand towards one of the seats, which I followed up on, sitting down.

"Okay, time for a lesson. Since you most likely have a guardian, you might already know some of this stuff; just tell me if you do."

I nodded.

"Alright then, let's begin. This school has over 50 different classes, which are divided not by your age, but by your rank. It start's from rank 2 all the way to rank 6. For each rank there are different classes, which all have different name. Of course, when you advance a rank it means you change class. Even when a new year comes, you'll still be in the same class if your rank hasn't improved. You're studying will be mixed with lesson's about abilities and lesson's with math's and such. Only ever so rarely does a person not born from here get accepted into this school, but since Mischenny has recommended you I guess there's no choice. Thing is, since your guardian appears to be a student you can join his class." He smiled.

"His class is Rank 4 Zion. Since classes are about to being soon, we'll handle the matter of uniform for tomorrow, for now I'll take you to your class." Mr.Kim continued.

Still, I was silent only doing so much as nodding. A large bell began to ring, most likely to signify the start of classes.

"Let's be on our way to your new class then." Mr.Kim said.

We exited the room, making our way to my new classroom. I didn't spot any students lurking around; most likely they had already gotten to class before the bell had rung. After a few minutes of walking, we entered a building called "J" and reached a double door labelled "Zion". Mr.Kim opened the door, revealing a room which like all the other buildings and rooms I had seen so far, was covered in white.

Mr.Kim dragged me towards the front of the room, facing towards the many students sitting behind their desks. I noticed they didn't have any books, only a white desk which seemed to be implanted into the ground and a screen on front side of the desk. Another high tech item this country held.

"This is a newcomer, named Marcus Halse. He's only been here a day so show him the ropes and be gentle with him. Okay?" Mr.Kim announced in his deep voice.
This announcement began to cause whispers amongst the students, I could only hear a little but they were all whispering about the fact of me being here for only a day. Looking around I noticed that Jordan who was sitting at the far back, he gave me a wave and a smile. I also noticed the blonde girl from earlier, still wearing her golden dress. It seems I was wrong and that she was not a teacher, but in fact a student.

Mr.Kim tugged me with his elbow; perhaps he wanted me to introduce myself.

"My name is Marcus Halse. My parents were killed by a monster named Violet. Not much more to say about myself except that I'm going to kill him."

With that I had finished my introduction which earned even louder whispers and a shocked expression from Mr.Kim and an adult who seemed to be our homeroom teacher. He had brown hair and blue eyes and wore a grey suit with a white shirt and black tie.

Mr.Kim sighed, and then left the room without saying a word. The teacher looked at me, then opened his mouth,

"My name is Nathan Klew, but it's sir to you. Mr.Halse you will be taking your seat in the third row by the end next to the window."

He pointed towards the seat .Nodding I following his pointed direction; I seated myself in the white seat which was also implanted into the ground.

"So, let's begin today's lesson." The teacher spoke.

And so begun my first day at innocence academy.
