Sometimes we focus on what we think is life, not real life.
FOCUS

Sometimes things seem so in focus,
while others seem like hocus pocus.
I wished for a life that was so real,
Instead I found one just surreal.

Don't get me wrong; I won't complain,
cause if I dwell too much, I'll go insane.
So I decided to search for a place,
to get away from this rat race.

First it was a small quaint town.
But still it seemed so vacant around.
So then I tried a job to help others.
And still it felt like a barren mother.

Then one day I entered the woods
and as if by magic,it all seemed good.
The birds sang happy songs to me,
while the wind whispered how it should be.
,
The farther in that I walked I saw,
where peace and happiness became my awe.
The deeper I ventured, the more I found;
that my real focus was everywhere around.

And while some of us where lost in the crowd,
some of us were lost in the woods.
Still more were found abandoned on a corner,
while I was never found; I became focused for sure.

S A Gibbins 2014

Inspiration comes in the strangest places, yet it is written upon so many faces.
Thank you Wendy;sometimes we all need focus. Inspiration and change can take
shape from perhaps just the right word at just the right time. And sometimes in our sadness,
or in our madness; we can finally find that gladness. And while we may never get back home;
home is where the heart resides.

Thank you Pam. I am alive because of you.
And thank you to all of those who reside in my heart forever;
Wherever you are; I hope you too find your focus.
And thank you God for giving me the ability and joy to express myself.
