Mansion in a tree
Tree House

When she told me she lived in a forest,
I thought she was crazy;
Until I looked up and saw;
There perched on the branches,
And mostly obscured among beautiful
Autumn foliage of gold and orange
Sat the most formidable tree house
I had ever seen.

“Would you like to see?”
She asked me.
“They’re not just for kids anymore.”

Believe me,
When I say,
That mansion was as close
As I’ll ever come
To eternity.

I’d describe it for you,
But . . .
This is something
You just have to see!

I mean,
A mansion
In an oak tree?
