The feels.
Kept it on the inside, knowing that's the safest place to hide those quiet things
Stirring about so endlessly restless within
What will it take to make you open up your eyes?
Words that fail to come out right
You've felt as though you were wasting invaluable time
Yet, you managed to let go of what was whole, and what was dear
Just ever so tight
You should be aware, that we're not the enemies
Leave what's in the past behind
The resolve weakening in your eyes
Still, you remain steadily defiant
Refusing to let the tears crash around you
Bent with a bitterness no one could foresee
Could you find a bit of relief...if you'd open up?
Yet, you're alone in here
Awakening, to separate those feelings
You swore you'd avoid falling into
Now, you feel the break down
Try to sort through this mess of a mended heart
Wondering if all you see, are actual possibilities to not be alone
Forfeit the ideal of finding a bit of comfort within the ruins
Just hang on to yourself
A bit of love within is your resistance
Will you take the chance to surrender yourself completely to an unstoppable force?
