This is a poem I wrote about an angel trying to save a person's life.
The gavel falls and I descend
To a world that's full of sin
My hammer with me to break the gate
If Hell's fury should come if I'm too late
Oh angels protect me my breathren strike
I need to get to this child tonight
He cut himself and blood is drawn
To save his soul I must press on
My feet touchdown am I too late
Have I lost this boy to a crueler fate
His soul is falling into Hell's gates
I will rescue and clean his slate
My hammer ready to break the ground
I must get him safe and sound
So swing and swing to bust the door
This is what I was made for
To save the hurting  who cry out His name
And bring them hope from where I came
So in this war I shall not stop
I'll give it everything I've got
To save the hurting, broken, and hopeless
I press on take comfort in knowing this.
