this is just something I quickly threw together.
The poem my heart sings

By Honeysuklerose

So many poems I’ve thrown away

So much I had to say

You took away my notebook and tore it apart

But I’ve written them each and every poem upon my heart

So do not leave me lonely for I’ m never really alone

I’ll always be right here to welcome my thoughts home

You say I am a coward and too meek and that is week

But I have strength that you could never seek

I’ll sing a song of hope and my words will make them cheer

I’ll never leave you lonely because I’ll always be right here.

To make a speech , to write a poem , or to silently proclaim

I’ll write a play or a movie and I shall even know some fame.
