The eyes in the mirror are still the same today
but the face I shave has changed
If it had been a slow fade
I never would have noticed
I never would have cared

My eyes still sparkle and burn
like they did 20 years ago
But the vehichle they drive
has been picking up speed.
has enterd the curve.

three months ago
I was ten years younger
hiding in my home
fooling mother nature
fooling myself

All those years
I thought avoided
we're hiding in the back seat
and now they've taken over
taking a road of their own

It doesnt really change
my eyes or the way
in which they see
and what they see is still the same
but what they see has turned
