Poem of quiet pain
Call for me
When you have no one to run to
I'll stand firm
My shoulders strong
To carry the wieght of your world.

There you sit
Staring like you have something to say
Say you care, that's all I want to hear
A thank you, appreciation for my troubles
But you still sit there, thinking of your own emotions.

I see desperation in your eyes
Wrapped in univolved coolness
Your actions speak louder than words
Your mind filled with dellusions of grandure
A never ending barage of thoughts.

Still you sit there
I have no words to express
You need me to speak
Always wrong, my words sound distant and confused
You're expressionless, as always, taking in my wanderings.

I see your mind reeling
Trying to comprehend my backwards thoughts
You blink in confusion
Have I gotten through?

Speak... you back away

Don't run
"You always run" I say
"Speak what you feel, show me yourself in words"
A sigh means I hit a nerve
You look up with a face tormented with what rages inside
So afraid, like me, to open up and feel.

You drop your eyes, sink back into your mind
"I wont hurt you, why wont you speak to me"
Her lips mouth a word as she stands
Moving out the door
Another emotion buried
Another chance gone
