Ball Room

A large rectagular room with floor to ceiling windows placed intermittently along each wall.
Several sets of double doors along the long walls, which lead out to terraces over looking gardens. When the doors are left open during the warm season the scent of fresh blossoms fills the room. Candle aubras hang between the windows, providing the soft golden glow.

A long banquet table sits on a dais along the short inner wall of the room. Ornate chairs sit behind this table for the royal family. A long set of tables surrounds the polished wooden dance floor. A small balcony sits to the left of the dance floor where the royal orchestra plays.

Matrim's Chambers

Beyond the large wooden doors is the Prince's sitting room. It is furnished with an over stuffed sofa large enough for a man to recline on. A writing desk sits near the right wall. The chair behind it sits facing the room. A portrait of Matrim on the back of a white galloping horse hangs on the wall behind the chair. A side board stretches along the left wall. It typically holds a pitcher of chilled wine of nector. A small table and four chairs sit before the side board for the Prince and some companions to sup. The back wall frames a floor to ceiling window. A set of panels in the window opens out onto a garden terrace. Parallel to the double wooden doors between the sitting room and the hallway is another set of double doors leading into a master bedroom.

A large wooden king-size bed sits in the center of the room on top of a square blue woolen rug. The bed linens, comforter, and bed curtains are made of thick blue linen. On the wall across from a bed sits a large dark wood wardrobe. A full length mirror stands beside the wardrobe.

Tower of the Royal Magus

A set of winding stone steps leads to a wooden door with a pentagram carved into the center. A symbol of each element of life is carved into a point of the star that spreads the with of the pentagon. The door leads into the sitting room of the Royal Magus.

An overstuffed couch, two arm chairs and a short legged table sit on a square green woolen rug in the center of a polished wood floor. A wooden table and four chairs sits to the left of the sitting area. Behind the sitting area is a work area where the Royal Magus and her Apprentice mix potions and practice spells. What could be considered a spice rack lines the back wall and contains various ingredients for mixing potions. In the left wall is a set of wooden doors leading into the Royal Magus's bed chamber.

In the bed chamber a wooden queen-size four-poster bed sits in the center of the room. The ornately carved headboard spans the small back wall. The bed linens, curtains, and canopy are a deep green. A wardrobe and full length mirror stand along the right wall. In the left wall is a set of doors with glass windows that lead out onto a small balcony overlooking the courtyard.

The door leading to the Royal Magus's Apprentice's bed chamber sits across the sitting room from the doors of the Royal Magus's bed chamber. A large wooden four-poster bed sits in the center of a thick green carpet in the center of the room. Thick green curtains hang from the wooden canopy, and soft green linen bedding covers the feather mattress and pillows. A floor length window on the south wall keeps the rom bathed in sunlight during the day. Behind the bed sits Gwen's wardrobe and privacy screen for dressing and bathing. Along the east wall sits a small chest of drawers which contains a modest amount of jewelry she has received as gifts. The west wall is covered with wooden shelves which contain various magical tombs and books on non-magical subjects.
