A poem which was meant for a old story I ended up discontinuing.
The beating bass from the speakers.
The rapidly flashing beams of light.
An experience that truly transcends living.
Once you become absorbed, you lose everything.
Your mind just keeps on shouting.
" Go ! Go ! Go !".
All your troubles fade away.
Your identity is lost as the music amplifies itself.
But...
When it's all gone, and the excitement dies down.
Life reverberates at it's peak limit.
Hitting you like a shot of the hardest liquor.
Identity, trouble, it all comes back full force.
Yet, it always has a hint of ecstasy.
True happiness.
Like the undeniable thrill of a rave.
