sparrows cry
deepened spells of
tranquil escapades
happily saddened eyes
caress sockets of heroism
lashing out into spastic torture
whimpering courage
emerge unshamed
nude as an artist's palette
colored as autumn leaves covered
ashes to ashes
dust to dust
we all
die to live
