Memoirs of a Bookshelf
Your Touch

When the jet age came and gadgets became the order of the day

I began to feel lonely all of a sudden

I could no longer feel the thunbimg of footsteps approach me

Or that quiet walk down my lane to get to me

Outstretched arms gliding through my skin

In a bid to see what I held inside

These days just a few still keep me company

Stripping gently to unravel me

How I miss your touch

with love ....
