I wrote this poem for all of my brothers and sisters in Christ
Brothers and Sisters

I wish so badly I could be there
For everyone who needs me there
Who needs a shoulder on which they can cry,
I can wipe your eyes and keep them dry,
My lonely brothers and sisters.

All over the world so big and round,
All different languages and tongues around.
But we all are undeniably kin
Bound by the lord and our spirit within,
My faithful brothers and sisters.

If my arms were longer
And if my hands were stronger
I’d help carry every burden no matter how hard
I’ll pick up the broken glass, every last stabbing shard.
My beautiful brothers and sisters.

My heart aches when I lose you
And I fall when you do.
Your scars are mine and we share
Same stories of loss and pain we can’t bare.
My hurting brothers and sisters.

Your hunger pains are mine, too,
And I wish I could be there to feed you.
There are so many of you and I would
Be there for you all if I could.
My hungry brothers and sisters.

Lovely, wonderful, amazing, kind,
Beautiful brothers and sisters of mine.
I wish you the world and all good things,
I wish you the peace that only the Lord brings.
My stunning brothers and sisters.
