a short about wishing to go home
I often wish that some angel would swoop by and bring back my childhood. I knew that it wouldn't happen, and I would continue my daily routine with my sluggish exhaustion. My present life was detestable, whereas my childhood was better than this.
I remember that Mom was always sleeping, and Dad didn't live with us. Although I didn't have a great family connection, I wasn't as tired as I am today. I didn't have to take pills or put on patches or try out medication, or anything. I had fun. I would go play with my brother and I would be happy.
When did everything change?
