Everything is in an eerie balance
An in between time
An in between space
Roses and Christmas trees
Both in full array
The empty space between
Learning and proving ourselves
A time between
Childhood and adulthood
An unsettling calm
A quiet you can hear
A quiver in the air
A stirring deep within me
