Kendra was the blonde princess with her green eyes and long, soft curls. She was the popular girl every boy wanted, but she was also Krista's sister. Krista was the opposite of Kendra, short, straight hair, black as ebony, her skin as white as ivory and her eyes dark brown. Krista was not a princess, more of a witch, she loved dressing in black, wearing her hair in strange, spiky up-dos and most of all, had her whole body tattooed, though she had never had them done. And then there was Killian; he was the nicest of the three siblings. They were triplets, and they were special, each in their way but all because of one truly scary and unfathomable fact, their mother had died during labour, and so they had come back to life a few minutes after being pulled out of the uterus, but they'd brought something back with them. Kendra was a natural charmer; she could talk anyone into anything. Krista had her magic and Killian could see into people, read their souls, who they'd been in the past and who they could be in the future.
Kendra had already charmed her way into a school; Krista was working at a coffee store while Killian was one amazing police officer aspiring to become a behaviourist and profiler.
On more than one occasion, Krista had helped Killian solve one case or another, but Kendra had always said it was all too gruesome for her and never chose to help. She just loved teaching, and her charm worked wonders on difficult students.
Only three people knew of their powers, Kevin, Kara, and Kristen. Kevin was Killian's best friend; Kara was Krista's girlfriend, and Kristen was Kendra's best friend, who had a crush on Kevin, who wanted to hook up Killian with his sister Kayla.
Killian was working a murder case, a little girl who was found strangled, nobody had identified her yet, and all he could see was that she had been smart but very sad and lonely. He had called Krista to help him using her powers, but all she'd seen was some orphanage, and they needed to convince Kendra to go there and charm the manager into telling her about the girl. Kevin was in on helping out, but Kendra would surely need some convincing, and that's where Krista came into the picture. She went home and with Kara's help, she made an amulet to help her influence Kendra's will. The spell was complicated and involved lots of herbs and spices.
