I wrote this in college while watching the full moon.
If I could capture that luminescent glow
Surrounded by blue/black darkness
Inside a frame’s space.
I would hang it there
upon that wall
With all its scattered time fragments
It’s hazy shine,
Like a film resting upon a sun blazed rock
Covers over unimportant imperfections
To create an essence of beauty
That few will ever take the time out of their busy go-go worlds to even notice
But do, oh please, capture it for me
And place it there, right in the center
Where it belongs
So that the mysterious brilliance
Can emanate from a source deep within
One that is often overlooked in a glance
but is more true than the face of obvious reality.
