About suicide thoughts and choosing life and taking control of your life.
The conclusion of my story that is yet to be told
After making the same mistakes enough times to turn me cold
Is that in the end there is still a light to be seen
When loving someone so much in return had made me mean.
I know now that I have many pages left of my lifes story to write
That I choose what happens next and for the rest of my life
The time has come to end this chapter and start a new one
Or perhaps a new book to create, as my life is far from done.
I close this book and move on from these pages filled with hate
Emotions so dark and tears they they told were assumed as my fate
But my life is worth more then to end with these last pages I wrote
Now I must leave with a promise of a new and better book to quote.
As you read on about my life I will learn to be strong
And hopefully will find out how not to wait for so long
I want you to discover as I will that you're life is up to you
And that you'll choose to live the one you deserve and want to.
So if you feel one day that you're book must suddenly come to an end
Remember there plenty of empty pages to keep going my friend
You can choose to start a new book without the darkness and tears
And create a life that you want to live full of laughter instead of fears.
Lift up your head and never again let it start to fall
Time to stand up and walk proud, brave strong and tall
Be you- the only one who can be you the best
Take with you only the memories you need to move on, leave behind the rest.
Because no one wants to keep reading a book that repeats
It gets old and boring when it is filled with only defeats
They will stop reading and no longer be interested in what you say
And the pages of your life will be closed and forgotten one day.
It's time for a twist to show that there are parts I had to ignore
That is going to catch the readers attention again and more
And my book will not be so easy to put down and forget about
As the next pages I write will not be ones filled with doubt.
You will see by the end of my story, I will prevail, I will win
I won't become the boring dependable repeat of defeat again
It will be a book that when the last pages are read and the final one is closed
A smile will form on the readers face as the pages of their life they begin to compose.
