First ever poetry piece
Living in a small country town and its pure bliss
It can pay its ultimate price
Traveling long distances on that same road, i did over and over
On the road that i knew so well, believing i'm not tired, i can make it home
Only a short distance home, unaware i was dreaming
Awoke up to my fate of my life in front of me,
The tree on the notorious bend taken so many deaths only metres away,
The sheer terror and fear enables me to swerve, narrowly missing the tree,
My heart pulsating struggling to find a breath, sweat and tears rolling off my face Crying with terror, the tension and bodily shakes from the event that took place,
My fate was close to the end, something pulled me to wake and give me another chance
