Joan of Arc - Rock and Roll Groupie
Jeanne d’Arc

Young Joan so loved the song
It always made her dance
To hear the singer sing
What pleasure she would have
To serve the would be king

Young Joan so loved the song
There’s naught she wouldn’t give
To hear the song once more
Her fervent passion deep
Enough to fight a war

Young Joan so loved the song
Though little did she know
How costly comes this fame
Til tethered at the stake
She felt the stinging flame.

Young Joan so loved the song
So saintly the outcome
As flesh and spirit part
Her concert now ended
The song has left her heart
