A Poem About The Meadow
In The Meadow

Where The Flowers Once Grew

Where The Winds Blew

Where The Birds Once Flew

In The Meadow

Lived The Rotten

And The Forgotten

Where The Dirt Was Black

And Sky Was Grey

The Men Prayed

That They Would Not Be Slain

In The Meadow

Against The Great Wall

Some Eyes Began To Ball

But The Whistles Blew

And They All Knew

Its Was Time To Go Over That Great Wall

In The Meadow

Rockets Flared

And Was Brass Here And There

The Friends Were Mistaken As Fiends

There Was Yellow In The Air

And It Suddenly Turned Quiet

In The Meadow

There Was One Who Walked Among The Dead

Unable To Tell The Corpses From Carcasses

Realizing There Was No Catharsis

And Began To Wander Through The Dread

In The Meadow

He Found A Young Man In No Man's Land

Missing Both Of His Legs And Hands

The Young Man Begins To Groan And Cries

But Soon The Young Man Dies

In The Meadow

He Wanders Still

But Suddenly Stops And Stands Still

Through The Despair

He Sees The Repair

Yes Yes

It Was In The Meadow

Where Spouts Finally Feel Fresh Air
