A short poem about a place once loved
I loved it once. I loathe it.
This place was once my home.
This place that grew me up.
Showed me lust then love.
Picked me up and made me more than I was.
My babes born in this place.
Feelings only felt not chosen. So why do I...
Why are you judging me.
What are you staring at.
Why do you care which god I hold dear.
Why do you care where she is from.
Which school do they attend.
What size is that stone.
How much did that cost.
I loathe it.
The undertones of this place.
The disrespect of all below.
The irony of same race racism.
The yes' that ought to be no's.
The disparity.
The whores of this place.
The nerve of this place.
I am racist now. I am altered. Forever Changed.
I loathe this place.
