Remaining wise, patient and humble through lifes unexpected trials
Keeping calm - in understanding trials

There seems to be so much to say, when things don't seem to go our way.
We tend to cry, we tend to ask why? But the ultimate destination of problems,
always seems to provide, a new rainbow, a new job and a new song filled with hope.
To understand problems or trials we face, is probably the best thing we can do,
because while here in our earthly life - the better we understand, the clearer
the picture becomes. We can fight for the right to live, but we can't fight against
the necessity of some pain. In pain, we understand growth better - perhaps in more
glorified bodies this prerequisite trial would not of been needed, but while we are
still in bodies that must grow, we need to know the extremes of both - to truly choose the
better path. I can't understand all things, but I can choose to understand some simple things
that might just be all I need to sustain life in myself, and the joy of those around me. To
accept the way things run, to acknowledge adversity - yes at times, but knowing that there
is no denial of the grandeur of life, the rose is not made ugly just because it has thorns.
Nor does the heart need to be made bitter, for only seasonal and temporal heartaches to
be endured. I can choose to be calm, by the grace of God. And know that life no matter
what is still beautiful. I pursue a lighter burden, when I relieve all fears and doubt.
I carry still a daily burden, but not one that is not needed for my frame. I carry a load
meant for my fitness. I carry a load designed for my mind. And through all daily cares, one
thing remains for sure, a dark night lasts a moment and the morning light will surely
break through.
