In the end
Here I lie, a broken star,
Here I lie, with all my scars,

with demons, my best friends,
holding hands, while it ends,
and as the first act began,
As I had promised, I tried,

for the world bets on you,
To burn, stumble, and fall,
you go through the acts,
one by one, as the curtains fall,

and as your last breath begins,
you lay there scattered,
like the pieces of puzzle,
that could not set in a lifetime,
and you wonder if ever,
can contentment set in?

wish has turned into years,
for a whisper in your ears,
to help quiet your fears,
to tell you,
that you really tried,
yes, I know you tried,

Let those tears flow now,
It is time to let go now,

in the end
