Just a reflection on my weariness and strength.

Never

My energy is wearing out,

I'm trying to stay high,

Trying to flap my wings,

But I just cannot fly.



How long will this go on?

How long will I cry?

Is there no answer for

Me to peacefully lie?



Little did I know

How hard this would be.

Tearing me down, but

A stronger me you'll see.



The world, with its baggage,

Wearing down on me.

Keeps getting harder but

You'll never see me flee.
