Some thoughts captured on hopes for 2018’s summer.

The summer of my dreams is languid and lush.
With mornings awash in dewy light
And last night’s dreams.

There’s a halo of haze around the afternoons.
And bright yellow dandelions.

With fluttering lights and flickering tongues evening settles in
While condensations wraps around glass bottles.

The summer of my dreams is mirthful and merry
With the pavement warm underfoot
As I welcome night to dream.
