I've been through the fire with my armor on

Now I'm refined, and I'll define that

The joy of the Lord is my strength, and it's divine

and my strength has been anointed

And this time has been appointed

For me to walk in the vocation wherewith I am called

No more sinful bawling or galling, but the enemy is who I maul

If there is a thought of whom I am in Him or rather a question,

I repent and turn from my wavering thoughts in sincere confession

I needn't not worry my God's got my back, and He don't need my suggestion

Not taking off my helmet and getting into a funk

But understanding that no weapon formed against me shall prosper

And if I personally, was the enemy, I would not try my luck

Because of the call that is on my life, if a tongue rises against Me

with strife then that tongue will be condemned

And the devil can try me if he wants to but he knows where he will be sent

To the pit of hell from whence he came and seven times fold

Psalms 28 as for the

Righteous, as a lion, we are ever so bold

I don't care what you think or what you've been told

His mercies are strong enough to make you new

And purge out the old

We must be refined through the fire to come out as gold.

Not acting as though I have it all together,

Or as though circumstances in life cannot change my weather

So let's not hold our head so high up knowing by every wind

Of doctrine we get blown like a feather

There is a spirit of pride in the land

That likes to pretend

That they are heavy weight

And will do anything for Heaven's sake

Anything except consecrate

And the truth of the matter is it'll do anything for sin's sake

And will fight so our own will The Lord will not confiscate

Then will be upset and have so much hate

In our hearts for the brethren

When they try to warn us of the consequences of our medicine

(That means we try to self-medicate using sin)

We have a call you see,
to avoid and help others out of hypocrisy,

To use our testimonies

To set the captives free

The call has never been to look at how nicely

we can exalt ourselves behind a pulpit

Just to say look at me

As we have a pretentious Holy Ghost fit

The call has always been to point the finger

To the only one who went through the ringer

For the salvation of those who could care less

So let's point the finger to the right one
