As technology evolves, some old tropes are becoming a reality.
"Red alert. We're up" Johnson yelled from the staircase.

"What happened? There isn't an alert!"

Johnson's stone face and worried eyes yelled for the team to hurry.

In an instant, Jone's watch interface lit up and a hologram appeared. Little green stars refined into readable lines as the device calibrated and a 1980s style report appeared in thin air.

Steven Williams - Warrant appeared underneath the image of an unkempt man with a beard and scraggly long hair. Half of his teeth were missing from his smile.

"No shit!"

Jones spun around, nearly getting bowled down the stairs.

"What the hell Rebecca."

"It's the meth man from a few weeks back!"

His stomach quenched. The government had no idea what it was doing when it made second offenses for drug possession punishable by death. His hands quenched into a fist as his feet instinctively began moving towards the dressing room.
