You can always indulge on the suffering of someone other then yourself.
It’s cold in Ohio
the winter wind blows
my footprints leave a trail in the snow
but where they lead nobody will know

People see the shape of a shoe
But the imprint is not defined
Since I don’t know where I’m going
And I really don’t mind

My body creaks and cracks
My emotions flip and flop
Sometimes I don’t know if I want to live
Or to just make it stop

It’s cold in Ohio
So far away from home
A hug from someone I love would be a relief
So maybe I won’t feel so alone

No matter how far you venture
No matter where you end up
There is one thing you must remember
Don’t ever give up
