A Chance Encounter
[Introduction]
It was late April in 1982 when I first saw her. It had been a rather boring day with too much time on my hands. Mom was at work and friends were all at school. Oh the life of a high school dropout. Mark picked me up around 2:30 or so and we headed to our destination. We had some conversation and thought nothing special of the day. We were both looking forward to meeting with Peter and enjoying our cup of coffee and more idle conversation.

To the casual eye the day's seemed to roll one into another, get up, play my guitar and hope that one of my friends would be available to hang out after school. I was a 17 year old wanna-be rock-n-roll guitar player who showed no flashes of brilliance but I tried... a little. Me and my banged up guitars seemed inseparable back then, I just wish I would have taken it much more seriously.

Mark and I arrived at this restaurant called "Mr. Fables" on that warm, sunny Friday afternoon. Perfect day for April in Michigan. Mark and I arrived and made our way to the booth where Peter was sitting and beside him was a girl like no other. (TO BE CONTINUED)......
