Little boy acts out
Jaxon is your normal 5-year-old boy with a little extra energy and has a hard time paying attention.

Well today began no different than any other day. Jaxon woke up, got dressed, ate breakfast then took the bus to school except that as Jaxon was getting off the bus at school, he did not see his friend, Bradin, so he was upset.

When Jaxon got to his classroom, he became very disruptive and disrespectful. He was yelling, getting up from his seat, running around the classroom, and knocking things off the desks.

After lunch, the teacher asked, “Jaxon, I know you are upset because Bradin is not at school today, but this is not how you should act.”

“I miss Bradin,” Jaxon cried.

“I know you miss him, is there something that might cheer you up? Maybe picking out the story for story time?”

So Jaxon walked over to the bookshelf and picked out a story. He took it to his teacher, “Will you read this, please?”

His teacher said, “Yes, of course.”

“Thank you. That’s my favorite story, and it always helps me feel better.”

As his teacher read his favorite story, Jaxon started to feel better.
