My previous state of mind.
What would it be like
To breathe, to feel,
To truly live?

I know not, care not.
I know survival.
I know existence.

I cannot breathe in.
I cannot feel.
I cannot truly live.

I know pain, not life.
I know loneliness
And I know strife.

This world of life
Is foreign to me,
But I must try.
