Short poem of admiration for a boy with "black eyes"
"When people asked, I used to tell them my eyes were black"

It made me laugh when he said that
He's never seen them the way I have

When he's thinking, when he's talking

Sincere and honest, inquisitive
Warm and dark like coffee

Just as bittersweet.
