April 8 Entry. GloPoWriMo 2020
A square,
         three-by-three-by-three,
in a dark field.

No light,
         no shadows,
just them.

Grand reliefs,
taller than hoop pines;
older than mountains.

Mysterious,
         eldritch,
                   unknowable,
         yet familiar.

The longer I stare
the less I understand.
         Do you?
