another dream fragment; poem/lyric (≈ 150 words)
*Music1*

you trap my heart in your golden cage
let me out, my weary body cries
still my dreams cannot be held in wait
   hope may not be victimized

each night as you count your coin to sleep
let me out, my weary body cries
I wander the halls of this tower keep
   life cannot be victimized

searching, pleading for sweet escape
let me out, my weary body cries
yearning, avowing soul release
   I will not be victimized

fee-fi-fo-fum, it’s been ruled before
set us free, our weary bodies cry
you can try, but you can’t bar the door
   hope may not be tyrannized

we hold these truths self-evident
set us free, our weary bodies cry
that all are one, none preeminent
   life cannot be tyrannized

praying, questing for sweet escape
set us free, our weary bodies cry
yearning, avowing soul release
   we will not be tyrannized
