This is my story.
CARONA VIRUS

Please read what I write and do not shake hands
When out in public stay six feet apart
Rules that are heard throughout many lands
If you are shopping, one person one cart.

It’s a war that is keeping us house bound
Most people outside are wearing a mask
Not many are out just running around
But a few don’t seem equal to the task

The virus just doesn’t scare them a bit
They say some other things are killing more
Such as drugs that some just don’t choose to quit
But COVID19 does the choosing for sure

In June I will be eighty and I have COPD
So I am declaring war on this thing
‘Cause it’s killing old veterans like me
A better time I hope summer will bring.

I can’t seem to write without
end lines that rhyme
But like it or not, I shout
The story is mine.

Just following these rules are the most positive thing that has happened to me.
