You can have an amazing future
When you look at the world today, and at your own life, what do you see for your future and for our world? Do you have an optimistic view of the future, despite the ongoing destruction of our planet and the very air we breath? Can you see mankind one day united in peace, overcoming racial, sexual, and political divisions? And do you believe that humanity can meet the challenges of increasingly occurring natural disasters, deadly diseases and record levels of mental and physical illnesses? If so, in who is your confidence placed? Is it politicians, who make endless empty promises, while lining their own pockets? Or do you look to charities and Activists, that have good intentions but little, or no real influence or power? What about scientists, can we trust in them to save our future? A popular science writer notes: “Our knowledge is vastly outstripped by our ignorance.” Scientists still do not fully understand how the human body, or even gravity works, let alone the earths complex ecological systems.The renowned physicist - Stephen Hawking wrote, before he died, “Our earth is becoming too small for us, global population is increasing at an alarming rate and we are in danger of self-destructing… I would not be optimistic about the long-term outlook for our species.”

Or perhaps, you are not hopeful for our future and, you are finding life hard to cope with. Do you yearn for a time of real peace and security, freedom from anxiety, and a better future? If so, then you are in genuine need of real comfort and hope. Where can we turn to for such things? What does the future really hold? Who can tell us?

What about our creator – God, do you know what he has promised for the future? Now like many people today, you may not believe in God, and you probably think the Bible is just an ancient book of men's ideas. But, did you know that the Bible foretold the sad conditions we are witnessing in our world today, and the Bible explicitly warned that, in our generation, humans would be “Ruining the earth”? Regarding the human race, the Bible warned us that people would become “Lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, disloyal, having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, without love of goodness, betrayers, headstrong, puffed up with pride, lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God.”

Was the Bible right? Do you see these things happening when you look around you?

But the Bible also promises amazing changes for our near future, including the removal of violence, insecurity and anxiety. You may be surprised to learn that God did not intend the world to be this way, and he has promised to step in – soon, and undo all of the problems that humans have created. Included in that promise is the re-assurance that “God will bring to ruin those ruining the earth.” God also makes the following personal promise to you;

“For I well know the thoughts that I am thinking toward you, thoughts of peace, and not of calamity, to give you a future and a hope.”

The Bible speaks of an unprecedented change in the ruler-ship of the world, replacing all existing governments and kingdoms. The benefits to us all are described by Jesus:

“Let your kingdom come, let your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”

Among the many things that God's kingdom will do for you, and all humanity is to cure all illnesses and disabilities. Most incredible of all, God promises to bring back to life all those we have lost in death. The Bible says;

“All those in the memorial tombs will come out. Your dead ones will live, they will rise up”

“Death will be no more, neither will mourning, nor outcry, nor pain.”

I have spent decades reading and studying the Bible and I have seen the irrefutable evidence that assures us of this incomparable future. I would be happy to share that evidence with you, freely (God does not charge for His gifts).

We can have absolute confidence that the future of this world, and your own personal future, are not in the hands of imperfect, selfish humans but, are in the safe hands of our creator. He assures that He will bring about these changes – soon. He ends his promises with the comforting words;

“Look, I am making all things new.”
