Children's poem about shoes
My Shoes

I like my shoes
I really do
They help me play and run

They give my feet
A place to stay
While I am having fun

And when it's cold
My feet stay warm
And when it rains they're dry

With shoes on if
I stub my toes
I don't have to cry

I don't always
Wear my shoes
Sometimes it isn't cool

I never ever
Put them on
In a swimming pool

My shoes are good
But there's one thing
That's just a little bad

One tiny thing
That time to time
Makes me feel so sad

Every time
It seems to put
A frown upon my face

No matter how
I try and try
I can't tie my shoelace
