My days watching my kids grow up.
Children are special, though they'll never really know,
I've spent my life just watching them grow,
Where has it gone ,the years that have passed,
Why is it now i only ask?
It flies right by by the time they say,The day will come when you're needed less,
As I sit here , I'm just a mess,
I ask them now what can I do?
They reply only worry about you,
I don't feel as if there's anything I'm needed for,
As they straighten up and head out that door,
I'm getting older now I know,
Pretty soon they won't need me at all , I'll go ,
The love I've been given each and everyday,
I promise you it wont go away,
I hope you've felt as if I cared,
I can only say if I dared,
They are my world, though they may never know,
How much they've brought to me they show,
No tears are needed to ever shed,
I loved then I've always said.
