Sometimes it's good to shut up

“You know you can talk to me” Wen reassured David, “You know you can tell me anything.”

As she tightened her hand on his, his in turn kept his mouth tighter shut.

‘Not a word’ he thought, ‘not a word or she’s dead’

David had always been an over thinker. Nervous, paranoid, and partial believer of forces above and beyond him. But no longer.

David no longer believed because he now knew. And he new because he saw. He saw the shadow entity behind Wen waiting for him to spill his next words, a prophecy. The story of Wen’s death.

David tightened his lips; he could let such a thing happen. He wouldn’t let it happen. But the tightening of his lips became a freezing over his whole body as Wen, with the shadow’s voice and serene gaze asked “Please, will you tell me a story, tell me my… fate”
