Sometimes intrigue can invite unwanted familiarity.
You inspect the overgrown willow tree that you've been fond of since childhood. Its pointy leaves, all hanging side by side to cover a secret from prying eyes. Images of a roman battle formation comes to mind at their sight, coming to the defense of the tree's secret adds more to the imagination. The aroma of steak wafting through the now open window of the kitchen diverts your attention. Hungry, you hear your stomach growl, having not eaten in a near full 24 hours. You approach the kitchen window to act out a thief stealing an apple pie from an open windowsill, except there's no pie and you're just attempting to snatch whatever you can reach for a reaction. Hopefully dinner will be done by the time you get there, as she has been cooking for a while now.

As you approach the window, A scream comes from behind you. You don't recognize the scream, but you believe it's your wife's. Discovering her absence from the kitchen, you run back outside, fearful of time wasted as another scream rings out from the willow tree's direction. Screaming her name, you begin to sprint towards the tree, forcing the sea of leaves to depart as you glimpse inside it's hidden clearing. There's a hole in the ground, that was not present last week. Investigating the hole, you believe it was a grave site by it's size, but your wife is not present. The sound of running invades your senses, followed by the smell of gasoline and then another scream from behind you.

You spring into action, bursting through the willow tree's blanket and spot your wife standing next to the window. Your eyes meet, and as they do, her eyes widen as she points in horror behind you. Confused, you approach her asking her what's wrong, but she is silent.

Suddenly, a hand touches your shoulder. Jumping from the surprise, you meet the bewildered gaze of your wife as she beckons you to stop and listen to her.

"You need to come with right now! That woman by the window is not me!"
